Learning and Exploring

Class is a super fun place to learn.

And practice is a magical place to explore.

What's the difference between learning and exploring?

Learning feels like knowledge set forth by an external guide. A teacher, a book, a podcast, a post, a video. Beautiful. Needed. Love it.

Exploring feels like moving into some unknown place, some unknown terrain. It's mysterious. We don't know exactly what's on the other side of this bridge, but that's half the fun.

This is why I stay talking about practice. Doing yoga in class creates a container for learning. And when you explore this container without instruction?

So much possibility emerges! You may cross bridges within yourself that I have yet to discover. There is SO MUCH MORE WAITING FOR YOU in your own practice.

It is one of my deepest joys to be a guide to your practice, and never a gatekeeper to your inner exploration.

Ready to take the leap?

The focus for the summer is practice. Excited to see y'all and open up more possibilities to explore.
