60 days of the Virasana Cycle
Today, I'm returning to Vīrāsana School.
The cycle includes 3 poses:
- Vīrāsana
- Supta Vīrāsana
- and Adho Mukha Vīrāsana
In some ways, these poses are a mystery to me. They hold much unknown wisdom in my body. My feet, ankles, knees, hips, back and shoulders. Not to mention my mind.
Truly Vīrāsana affects me deeply from the ground up, from the gross to the subtle, the external to inner experience.
Asanas (postures) are like a roadmap, simply a visual representation of reality. And when we actually travel the road and enter the asana, we get to explore our own embodiment as it is right now.
There are many many stages and variations for this cycle. It is definitely going to be an adventure for me over the next 60 days!
